Mental Health Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct online therapy sessions through BetterHelp.

• Prioritize client care while BetterHelp manages administrative responsibilities and overhead.

• Provide mental health counseling to adults, couples, or teens.

• Facilitate sessions in a private and professional setting.

• Deliver therapy independently without supervision.

• Make independent clinical decisions.

• Cater to both insurance and cash-pay clients.

• Establish and maintain a robust caseload.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Psychologist/PsyD designation.

• Experienced Mental Health Therapist or Counselor passionate about assisting adults, couples, or teens.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling.

• Possess a Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy.

• Have a fully independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.) and the capability to provide therapy without oversight.

• Maintain a private and professional environment for conducting sessions.

• Exhibit excellent written communication skills.

• Carry professional liability insurance.

• Ensure a reliable Internet connection.

• Reside in the US.

• Note that interns and providers needing supervision are not eligible to provide therapy services on BetterHelp.

• Substance abuse counselors, school counselors, registered nurses, career counselors, Christian counselors, and business coaches are not accepted unless they hold an additional license as a mental health counselor.
