Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver clinical expertise and therapeutic services via BetterHelp’s online telehealth platform.

• Build and oversee a complete clinical caseload through regular referrals.

• Facilitate scheduled live sessions and interact using shared journals, audio and video messages, clinical worksheets, as well as formal goal setting and tracking.

• Apply independent clinical judgment to determine effective and appropriate therapeutic approaches tailored to each client.

• Collaborate with clients based on specific areas of expertise and their presenting issues.

• Concentrate on clinical responsibilities while BetterHelp manages client acquisition, billing, support, and operational tasks.

• Ensure privacy and confidentiality by utilizing secure, encrypted communication methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience (Required).

• A Master’s degree (Required).

• Acceptance of a full independent clinical license, such as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, Psychologist, or PsyD.

• Must hold a full license from a State Board to provide therapy independently and without supervision.

• Experience in counseling adults, couples, and/or teenagers.

• Availability of a private and professional setting for conducting therapy sessions.

• Strong written communication skills.

• Must possess professional liability insurance.

• Reliable internet connection is necessary.

• Must currently reside in the US.

• Should not be an intern or require supervision to deliver therapy services.

• Substance abuse counselors, school counselors, registered nurses, career counselors, Christian counselors, and business coaches will not be accepted unless they hold an additional mental health counselor license.
