Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care for elderly and terminally ill pets.

• Assist families in navigating end-of-life choices.

• Offer compassionate support to families throughout the end-of-life journey with empathy, patience, and professionalism.

• Establish connections with local veterinary clinics and act as an extension of their care services.

• Ensure timely and accurate medical documentation is maintained.

• Collaborate with medical leadership and support teams effectively.

• Engage in continuous training, education, and clinical development.

• Operate independently in the field while receiving support from medical leadership, Veterinary Care Specialists, and operational teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from a recognized veterinary institution.

• Active veterinary license in the state of practice, or the ability to obtain one.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

• Willingness to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check after hiring and prior to the start date.

• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
