Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate, Fear Free-aligned in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care services.

• Offer in-home euthanasia and hospice support for elderly and terminally ill pets.

• Assist and guide families through the end-of-life decision-making process.

• Establish relationships with local veterinary clinics, functioning as an extension of their services.

• Keep precise and timely medical records.

• Collaborate with medical leadership, Veterinary Care Specialists, and support teams.

• Engage in continuous training, education, and clinical development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary institution.

• Active veterinary license in the state of practice or the ability to acquire one.

• Valid U.S. driver's license.

• Availability to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check required post-hire and before the associated start date.

• Compassionate, emotionally aware, and client-oriented.

• Comfortable working autonomously in the field.

• Strong communication abilities in emotionally sensitive situations.

• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
