Part-Time Insurance Verification Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients to confirm and document necessary information for completing underwriting applications.

• Utilize the Quality Assurance database to assess what additional customer information or verification is required.

• Provide a clear explanation of the application process to potential clients.

• Complete any additional paperwork accurately as required.

• Maintain effective communication with management regarding activities conducted within the Quality Assurance database.

• Redirect calls to the appropriate department when necessary.

• Achieve the minimum expectations for departmental key performance indicators.

• Verify life and health insurance applications directly with potential clients as part of the New Business and Underwriting process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum typing speed of 35 wpm.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Outstanding customer service abilities are essential – friendly, efficient, and a good listener.

• Proficient in using computers, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Capability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and spelling is advantageous.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Must possess a keen attention to detail.

• A strong desire to learn and advance within the Company.

• Consistent and reliable attendance for your designated shift.

• Availability to work full-time and/or part-time according to position requirements.
