Part-time Faculty, Social Work

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver meaningful and prompt feedback to students on a variety of assessment tasks.

• Foster a positive, secure, and inclusive learning environment centered around students.

• Adhere to deadlines for essential tasks, which include final grades, assessments, grading rubrics, and contributions to grade appeals.

• Engage in relevant professional development and/or scholarly activities as needed.

• Offer insights to the course lead concerning course materials.

• Recognize at-risk students and work in partnership with student services.

• Collaborate closely with the Academic Program Director and fellow faculty to enhance program quality, student engagement, and overall student success.

• Conduct online instruction and facilitate communications remotely.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related discipline, with 18 credit hours of Social Work coursework from a regionally accredited institution.

• At least two (2) years of direct teaching experience at the master’s and/or doctoral level.

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Three or more (3+) years of professional and/or research experience in the field of Social Work.

• Personal computer and the capability to conduct online instruction and communications remotely.

• Current resume or CV.

• Unofficial transcripts of the highest degree earned.

• Preferred: Doctoral degree with a specialization in Social Work.

• Preferred: Publications in research-based, scholarly, peer-reviewed journals.

• Preferred: Experience in curriculum development.

• Preferred: Experience mentoring students through the dissertation process.

• Preferred: Background in higher education.

• Preferred: Experience in a technology-driven environment.
