Part-Time Customer Retention Representative – AM Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming calls from policyholders who are seeking to cancel their policies and discuss retention alternatives.

• Proactively reach out to customers with expired life insurance policies to present opportunities and payment options.

• Evaluate the unique situations of individual policyholders and suggest suitable coverage modifications.

• Cultivate relationships through clear, empathetic, and professional communication.

• Keep accurate documentation of customer interactions, retention activities, and results.

• Stay informed about life insurance products, policy features, and company protocols.

• Adjust communication methods to cater to individual customer needs and follow up as required.

• Achieve or surpass contact center key performance indicators (KPIs), including call volume, retention rate, first call resolution, adherence, call quality, and attendance goals.

• Handle daily incoming cancellation and outbound lapse recovery calls while upholding quality standards.

• Work a Monday to Friday schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Fundamental Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.

• Experience in a call center setting is preferred.

• Background in insurance and/or sales is advantageous.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to resolve complex policyholder issues with a positive demeanor.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure.

• Familiarity with life and/or health insurance terminology is preferred.

• Consistent and reliable attendance for the assigned shift.

• Willingness to work full-time and/or part-time as per the position requirements.
