Part-Time Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Compose and revise website content in English while upholding Utopia's unique tone of voice.

• Generate SEO metadata, which includes meta titles, descriptions, OG text, and image alt text.

• Ensure uniformity of copy across different pages.

• Verify that published content is both accurate and current.

• Craft social media content across various channels following the launch.

• Potentially revise internal operational documents, such as the General SOP.

• Assist in developing fundamental communication guidelines for the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English at a native level along with strong writing capabilities.

• Experience in copywriting and/or editorial positions.

• Familiarity with luxury or hospitality industries, and an understanding of a premium/lifestyle tone of voice (preferred).

• Basic knowledge of SEO and AEO (preferred).

• A keen attention to detail (preferred).

• Basic visual/design sensibility (preferred).
