Part-Time Audiologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform hearing evaluations and diagnostics utilizing remote technology, interpreting results for both practices and patients.

• Offer remote guidance and support to patients concerning hearing loss and Virsono solutions.

• Suggest, sell, and fit suitable Earlens solutions and air conduction systems.

• Keep detailed documentation of patient interactions and ensure accurate records are maintained in the electronic medical record system.

• Aid in scheduling tasks and collaborate with local and national resources.

• Deliver exceptional patient care and proactive customer service while reducing return rates.

• Partner with healthcare professionals and referral sources as necessary.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in hearing and telehealth technology.

• Achieve clinic productivity and quality benchmarks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Audiology, Hearing Science, or a related discipline.

• California state license to work as a Hearing Instrument Specialist.

• At least 2 years of experience in fitting and dispensing hearing instruments.

• Preferred experience with telehealth technology and remote patient care.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

• Ability to uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

• Must be capable of sitting and standing for prolonged durations.

• Must be proficient in using a computer and telehealth technology.
