Paralegal Specialist – Insurance Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee litigation files from start to finish, including preparation for trials.

• Draft and submit pleadings, prepare answers, assist with discovery, and prepare motions for attorney review.

• Order and monitor medical records; facilitate IMRs and vendor engagement with medical specialists.

• Prepare materials for arbitration and trial, including exhibits and jury instructions as needed.

• Manage e-filing processes across Florida courts.

• Track case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance.

• Keep organized files for claims and litigation documents.

• Liaise with attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel to support the progression of cases.

• Work collaboratively with attorneys and paralegals to ensure high-quality case management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must fulfill all relevant paralegal certification, registration, or licensure requirements as specified by the state of Tennessee.

• Preferred experience in supporting litigation related to bodily injury and/or third-party claims.

• Strong knowledge of legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings.

• Experience in managing a high volume of cases in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage numerous deadlines.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Required to undergo a background investigation.
