Packaging Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of new and existing end-user customers for packaging solutions within the Food & Beverage, Healthcare, and e-fulfillment markets.

• Identify opportunities at multi-location end users.

• Collaborate with the packaging sales team and inside sales resources to explore new prospects with end users and channel partners.

• Set sales objectives and utilize resources and strategies to meet or surpass sales targets.

• Foster relationships with key stakeholders at various levels in the purchasing process.

• Achieve territory sales targets and generate leads for new business opportunities.

• Contribute insights into short- and long-term growth objectives that align with business plans and strategies.

• Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and security protocols.

• Follow safety regulations, recognize hazards, and participate in ongoing EHS improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher (must be completed and verified before starting).

• A minimum of three (3) years of field sales experience managing a designated territory independently.

• A current and valid driver’s license.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for a work visa.

• A Master’s degree in Business or Sales Development is preferred as an additional qualification.

• Experience in the packaging industry working through distribution is preferred as an additional qualification.

• Preferably, five (5) years of professional field sales experience along with collaboration responsibilities as an additional qualification.
