Packaging Production Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Lead packaging initiatives from initial brief to production-ready files across Retail, Amazon, eCommerce, and Professional channels.

• Develop and modify dielines, ensuring precise structure, bleed, fold tolerances, CMYK/Pantone profiles, material specifications, and vendor-ready handoff.

• Update and manage packaging guidelines across various brands, including typography, layout standards, color profiles, materials, and structural specifications.

• Evaluate both digital and physical proofs, identifying errors in copy, colors, legal text, label claims, regulatory markings, and structural specifications prior to print approval.

• Oversee packaging requests, collaborate with Purchasing, Imports, and New Product Development teams, while keeping organized final assets in Bynder.

• Design instructional manuals, parent guides, product illustrations, activity sheets, printed cards, and other supplementary product materials.

• Implement approved campaign concepts across social media, websites, emails, digital advertisements, sell sheets, trade materials, Amazon A+ Content, and PDP image sets.

• Create or support product photography, retouching, image compositions, and photorealistic 3D renders for mockups, eCommerce listings, and sales materials.

• Utilize AI tools to accelerate asset adaptation, background generation, upscaling, image variations, and campaign rollout processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in packaging design or production within an agency, in-house brand, manufacturer, or a similar setting.

• Extensive experience in creating dielines from scratch, ensuring structural accuracy, bleed, CMYK/Pantone setup, material specifications, and print-vendor handoff.

• Proficient in 3D rendering tools such as Adobe Dimension, KeyShot, Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar platforms.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Experience in developing or maintaining packaging guidelines, brand standards, or production systems across multiple brands or packaging types.

• Strong knowledge of proofing, print production, file preparation, version control, and packaging quality control.

• Ability to adapt campaign concepts across various digital and print formats with speed and precision.

• Familiarity with Bynder or a comparable DAM platform for file submission, versioning, naming conventions, and asset organization.

• Active utilization of AI tools for design adaptation, generative fill, upscaling, background creation, and enhancing production efficiency.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple packaging and creative projects simultaneously.

• Experience in CPG, hard goods, pest control, household products, or similar product categories is a plus.

• Experience assisting NPD teams from brief through production is a plus.

• Understanding of Amazon packaging or eCommerce product image requirements is a plus.

• Proficiency in Spanish or French is a plus.

• Must currently reside in the Philippines and be legally authorized to work there.
