
Outside Sales Representative – Powersports

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Achieve category goals and overall sales revenue targets for the assigned region.
• Market, sell, and manage inventory levels of products for both existing and potential accounts.
• Conduct regular personal sales visits to established accounts.
• Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedules for sales calls and travel.
• Collaborate with accounts to effectively oversee inventory management.
• Provide ongoing product training to account personnel.
• Address account requirements, document proposed solutions, and generate profitable sales orders.
• Uphold ethical relationships with manufacturers in line with the company's image and goals.
• Meet customer requirements for B2B web training, catalogs, product pricing, images, and product descriptions.
• Communicate company policies, procedures, and initiatives to customers; relay customer feedback to management.
• Coordinate customer warranty returns and complete necessary documentation.
• Oversee merchandising, seasonal point-of-purchase updates, and custom point-of-purchase needs.
• Develop merchandising strategies for both existing and new accounts.
• Identify potential customers and explore business opportunities.
• Build and sustain customer relationships to enhance profitable sales.
• Introduce and demonstrate new products, providing training to account staff.
• Report competitive market conditions and customer feedback to management.
• Participate in sales meetings and product training sessions.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Counter Sales, Parts Managers, General Managers, and support staff.
• Complete sales call documentation, expense reports, and tracking reports.
• Develop and maintain a sales forecast.
• Execute a sales plan that aligns with sales and profitability objectives.
• Stay informed about current and emerging products and technologies.
• Conduct sales activities in an ethical and professional manner.
• Regularly update the Field Sales Director on schedule.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
• Bachelor’s degree or a closely related field along with three years of relevant sales experience and/or experience in the bicycle or outdoor industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using a personal computer.
• Strong technical aptitude, especially with Microsoft Office 365.
• Developed understanding of the industry within the designated market.
• Familiarity with Lightspeed, Ascend, or other point-of-sale software.
• General knowledge of motocross, supercross, off-road motorcycle riding, and mountain biking.
• Strong focus on customer service.
• Valid driver’s license and a proven record of safe driving.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, and technical procedures.
• Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.
• Availability for occasional off-hours and standard business hours is required.
• May need to work more than 8 hours in a single workday.
• Significant travel within the territory and to Fox corporate headquarters and various sales meetings is expected.
