This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee and enhance sales of veterinary supplies to veterinary clinics, educational institutions, and research organizations within a designated geographic region.
• Conduct sales calls to veterinary clinics, universities, and research facilities.
• Market veterinary products and share relevant market insights with clinics.
• Foster business growth through educational initiatives and marketing opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with Inside Sales Representatives to optimize sales efforts.
• Plan sales calls in advance, prepare detail bags, distribute literature packets, evaluate sales calls, send advance notice cards, and stay informed about sales promotions, new products, email communications, and industry developments.
• Build and sustain productive relationships with vendor representatives in the assigned geographic territory.
• Participate in vendor-sponsored veterinary conferences, industry trade shows, regional and national company gatherings, and vendor educational training sessions, including conference calls and Webex training.
• Address approved vendor inquiries for the territory, such as surveys, shared Outlook calendar updates, territory analyses, and related requests.
• Manage and submit expense reports to corporate within two weeks.
• Provide territory reporting as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Travel year-round between clinics, engaging in sales calls and attending sales meetings/training.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the veterinary industry is required.
• Sales experience is preferred.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to read and understand safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Exceptional listening and verbal communication skills, including diplomacy and professional sales techniques.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Capability to work accurately with highly detailed information.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry proficiency.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must remain eligible and insurable to operate a motor vehicle on behalf of the Company.
• A working vehicle is required for sales calls.
• Must be able to fly for vendor training and attend National Sales meetings.
• Ability to manage high levels of stress and handle rejection effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet frequent deadlines.
• Ability to continuously engage with customers, computers, telephones, and detailed information.
• Ability to work from a vehicle throughout the day.
