
Outside Property Associate β Claim Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
β’ Engage in structured training sessions that include virtual, classroom-based, and on-the-job experiences focused on insurance policies, claims procedures, systems, and protocols.
β’ Assess, investigate, and document first-party property claims while under direct supervision.
β’ Collect information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and external providers.
β’ Examine and evaluate pertinent facts and documentation related to claims.
β’ Determine and apply coverage for property damage in accordance with policy stipulations.
β’ Create precise scopes of damages for both property and contents losses.
β’ Generate written estimates and/or utilize computer-assisted estimating tools.
β’ Interact professionally and promptly with customers, claimants, and internal team members.
β’ Maintain accurate records of claim activities in claims management systems.
β’ Adapt to advancements in AI, digital transformation, technology implementations, system upgrades, and the rollout of digital tools.
β’ Assess and inspect all aspects of buildings and structures.
β’ Travel to assist customers at various locations, with overnight travel required as necessary.
β’ Progress towards independent claims handling and assume full claims handling responsibilities following the standard 9-12 month training program.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree.
β’ High School Diploma or GED along with one year of customer service experience.
β’ Prior internship or work experience in customer service or the insurance industry.
β’ Willingness to acquire an active adjuster license as mandated by state law.
β’ Valid driver's license.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
β’ Eagerness to learn claims management and estimating software.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Capacity to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions within established guidelines.
β’ Outstanding customer service skills.
β’ Keen attention to detail and organizational capabilities; adept at managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
β’ Fundamental conflict resolution skills.
β’ Ability to assess and inspect properties and structures, including roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces.
β’ Capability to carry, set up, and climb ladders weighing approximately 38-49 pounds.
β’ Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
β’ Obtain and maintain relevant Insurance License(s) and/or a UAS Remote Pilot Certification within three months of commencing employment.
