This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Coordinate engagement initiatives with healthcare providers, community organizations, government entities, advocacy groups, and other RHTP stakeholders.
• Maintain lists of stakeholder contacts, engagement tracking systems, and records of communication.
• Assist in the planning and execution of advisory committee meetings, workgroups, listening sessions, interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder forums.
• Aid in the development of stakeholder engagement strategies and outreach plans.
• Organize meeting logistics, prepare materials, manage follow-up communications, and track action items.
• Create and disseminate internal and external communications, such as announcements, newsletters, meeting summaries, presentations, and outreach materials.
• Keep communication calendars updated and support the execution of communication plans.
• Manage the review and approval processes for communications directed at stakeholders.
• Aid in crafting project messaging and materials for meetings, webinars, and stakeholder events.
• Assist in the preparation of project work plans, timelines, and milestone tracking.
• Oversee project activities and follow up on action items to ensure timely delivery of results.
• Coordinate meetings across various workstreams and maintain thorough project documentation.
• Support status reporting, risk assessment and management, and routine project management tasks.
• Prepare meeting agendas, briefing documents, meeting notes, and summary reports.
• Keep project files and communication records organized.
• Provide administrative and coordination assistance to project leadership and workstream leaders.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and members of the internal project team.
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholder inquiries and coordination needs.
• Collaborate with project teams to synchronize communications, outreach activities, and project efforts.
• Identify ways to enhance stakeholder engagement and project management processes.
• May offer task-level guidance to analysts, coordinators, or junior team members.
• May lead specific workstreams, project tasks, or small project teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Communications, Health Policy, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in supporting stakeholder engagement, communications, project coordination, healthcare consulting, public sector projects, or similar programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven experience in coordinating meetings, workgroups, or stakeholder engagement efforts.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities concurrently.
• Experience in creating presentations, reports, meeting materials, and communication products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within cross-functional teams.
• Experience in supporting Medicaid, public health initiatives, healthcare transformation, or state government projects.
• Familiarity with stakeholder engagement, community outreach, facilitation, or communication planning.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, health policy, or rural health programs.
• Experience utilizing project management tools and collaboration platforms.
• Must reside in New York state.
