Outpatient Staff Psychiatrist, Adult

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver services to a varied demographic of patients, managing an average caseload of around 50 patients each week or 8–12 daily.

• Provide evidence-informed psychotherapy and medication management.

• Create customized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Administer care through a telehealth platform.

• Offer support and guidance to colleagues and supervisors.

• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Maintain clinical independence while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

• Contribute to clinical training programs, quality enhancement initiatives, and potential supervisory or leadership roles.

• Work closely with the Medical Director; no supervisees will be assigned.

• Adhere to a mutually agreed-upon schedule; no on-call or weekend commitments required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-Certified Psychiatrist; Board-Eligible or Board-certified in Psychiatry.

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.

• Completed a Psychiatry residency program, encompassing diverse rotations, including Primary Care during training.

• Possess an active and in good standing Medical Doctor license in at least one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, or Massachusetts.

• Hold an active and unrestricted medical practice license and a DEA number for at least one approved state.

• Demonstrated experience and commitment to supporting Psychotherapy treatment.

• Familiarity with psychotherapy modalities such as CBT or DBT.

• Experience working with patients in an outpatient environment.

• Proficient in telehealth/telemedicine practices.

• Capability to prescribe medications.

• Skillful in concurrent documentation within patient sessions.

• Excellent clinical knowledge coupled with strong communication skills.

• Competence in patient education and diagnosis/treatment planning.

• Proficient with Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software, and EHR systems as applicable.

• Intermediate computer skills and technical proficiency.

• Interest in progressing into a Supervisory/Leadership position.

• Preferred experience in psychodynamic modalities.

• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available.
