Organ Transplant Benefits Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Support the management of both internal and external relationships as well as department escalations under the Senior Case Management Liaison.

• Aid in the resolution of department escalations by working collaboratively with internal teams and vendors.

• Assist in managing vendor relationships and implementing related process enhancements.

• Serve as a spokesperson for the department under the direction of the Senior Liaison.

• Engage in communication and collaboration with external business partners and internal teams.

• Document intricate systems and procedures.

• Offer guidance on the documentation of processes, procedures, workflows, and improvements.

• Provide training to internal staff, external clients, and vendors as required.

• Act as a backup for the Senior Case Management Liaison.

• Carry out other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• Required: 1-3 years of relevant experience in healthcare or health insurance.

• Prior experience in Account Management or Client Management is advantageous.

• Comfortable utilizing advanced medical terminology.

• Strong skills in leadership, communication, and collaboration.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

• Capability to work for extended periods while seated and performing computer tasks.

• Must have reliable cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 100Mbps download and 25Mbps upload speeds.
