Oracle Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete target architecture encompassing Fusion Cloud, Primavera, OCI, custom applications, data, integration, security, and AI.

• Lead the Design Authority and manage the Architecture Decision Register.

• Approve technical designs and exceptions to architecture.

• Establish strategies for environments, releases, deployments, and OCI tenancy.

• Design and oversee OIC integration patterns, including REST/SOAP, SFTP, FBDI, HDL, events, monitoring, and error handling.

• Manage integrations with governmental bodies, banks, payment gateways, e-invoicing, e-signature, identity providers, biometric systems, and payroll/WPS.

• Define the architecture and standards for Oracle APEX.

• Ascertain if requirements should be configured in Fusion, extended through Visual Builder, or developed in APEX.

• Create the architecture for data migration, reconciliation, reporting, and analytics.

• Establish security architecture that includes SSO, MFA, IAM, role-based security, SoD, and DoA.

• Ensure adherence to UAE government security and data residency regulations.

• Own the architecture for BC/DR, as well as performance, availability, and scalability requirements.

• Assist with design workshops, SIT/UAT, go-live readiness, and technical escalations.

• Lead Oracle Support escalations during cutover and hypercare phases.

• Govern the application of Oracle's embedded AI capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in Oracle enterprise solutions.

• More than 6 years of experience architecting Oracle Fusion Cloud and OCI.

• Experience as an architect or solution architect on at least two comprehensive Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations across multiple pillars.

• Practical experience in designing Oracle integrations with banks, payment gateways, and government systems.

• Proven experience in running a Design Authority and approving architecture decisions and designs.

• Experience in delivering OCI landing zones, environment strategies, and disaster recovery designs.

• Familiarity with Oracle Unified Method (OUM).

• Exceptional English communication and presentation abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience in the UAE/GCC public sector or regulated industries.

• TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification is preferred.

• OCI Architect certification is required.

• Certification in Oracle Integration Cloud / Oracle APEX is necessary.

• Proficient in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, particularly in Financials, Procurement, and Project Management.

• Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen 3) is essential.

• Strong foundations in OCI, including Tenancy, VCN, IAM, Object Storage, Vault, logging, and monitoring.

• Essential expertise in Oracle APEX on Autonomous Database.

• Critical knowledge of Fusion Security, including RBAC, data security, and SSO/SAML/OIDC.

• Strong experience with SSO, MFA, and Microsoft Entra ID or equivalent.

• Extensive experience with OCI security services.

• Significant expertise with Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, Data Safe, WAF, Network Firewall, and Bastion.

• Strong background in encryption, data classification, and masking.

• In-depth knowledge of UAE data residency laws, Dubai Information Security Regulation (DESC ISR), UAE Information Assurance standards, UAE Personal Data Protection Law, OWASP, penetration testing, and SIEM integration.

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or OCI Security Professional are advantageous.
