Oracle Operations Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the functional design and delivery for Oracle Maintenance, operational assets, Facilities, Job Orders, and GIS/Spatial processes within the approved architecture.

• Establish processes and controls for asset, work-order, preventive maintenance, service history, vendor, and planning.

• Develop specialized workflows, statuses, approvals, evidence, and closure conditions for job orders and services.

• Lead fit-gap analyses and product-boundary decisions regarding Facilities between Oracle Maintenance/APEX baseline and Unifier FAM/specialist solutions.

• Specify GIS/Spatial requirements for asset visualization, location searches, overlays, spatial analytics, and location-based operational processes.

• Coordinate the authoritative ownership of asset/master data to prevent duplication between facilities, IT Asset, and retained operational systems.

• Maintain the module configuration baseline and functional design for approved gaps and workflows.

• Define migration requirements for assets and facilities in collaboration with the Data Migration Lead.

• Oversee domain reports, KPIs, dashboards, and acceptance criteria.

• Direct domain SIT/E2E/UAT, defect resolution, and business acceptance processes.

• Prepare operational user and training materials and support release readiness and go-live activities.

• Confirm the segregation of responsibilities between request, approval, execution, closure, and asset administration in conjunction with the Security Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle Maintenance, Assets, Service, and facilities processes.

• In-depth knowledge of operational asset management, including asset lifecycle, hierarchy/attributes, maintenance plans, and service history.

• Extensive experience with work orders and preventive maintenance, covering request, planning, assignment, execution, closure, and SLA/status controls.

• Familiarity with job-order/service workflows, vendor/service provider involvement, and operational approvals.

• A solid understanding of facilities management processes and the instances where Oracle Maintenance may necessitate APEX or a specialist platform for advanced facilities requirements.

• Capability to assist in product-boundary decisions between Oracle Maintenance/APEX and Primavera Unifier FAM/specialist facilities solutions.

• Functional experience in GIS/Spatial covering asset visualization, location searches, overlays, spatial analytics, and location-driven operational reporting.

• Knowledge of integration for retained asset/permit or operational systems, calendars/room systems, ITAM/workplace products, and analytics feeds.

• Strong skills in reporting and KPIs related to work-order backlog, SLA/status, preventive maintenance, asset availability/lifecycle, facilities services, and GIS dashboards.

• Experience in end-to-end testing, UAT ownership, and operational training/acceptance.

• Ability to manage the configuration baseline and functional design for approved gaps/workflows, as well as contribute to migration requirements for asset/facilities masters.
