Oracle EBS Functional Principal Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite and Application Managed Services (AMS) projects.

• Comprehend business needs, evaluate business processes and gaps, and propose Oracle EBS solutions.

• Design and configure Oracle EBS modules according to approved specifications.

• Support the process from gathering requirements and configuration through testing, deployment, production support, incident resolution, and ongoing improvement.

• Collaborate with technical teams on reports, interfaces, integrations, customizations, data corrections, migrations, and enhancements.

• Review functional and technical specifications.

• Create functional and configuration documentation.

• Participate in testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Assist with data validation and reconciliation.

• Conduct training sessions for users.

• Engage directly with clients, business stakeholders, and end-users.

• Resolve production issues and work closely with both functional and technical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS Functional roles.

• Must be located in a nearshore (US) area such as Mexico, LATAM, or Argentina.

• Proven experience with Oracle EBS implementation and/or AMS initiatives.

• Practical expertise in Oracle EBS configuration, setup, and maintenance.

• Strong grasp of business processes relevant to the candidate's functional area of expertise.

• Ability to analyze functional issues and determine if the root cause relates to configuration, data, processes, customizations, or integrations.

• Familiarity with SQL / PL-SQL or similar query and reporting tools.

• Experience collaborating with technical teams on reports, interfaces, integrations, customizations, and data corrections.

• Background in data migration, validation, reconciliation, and data quality initiatives.

• Experience with incident, change, and problem management within AMS environments.

• Extensive experience in testing, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work directly with clients and end-users.

• Capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong hands-on expertise in at least one Oracle EBS functional area: Source to Pay (S2P), Human Resources / HRMS, or Projects / Project-to-Report.
