Oracle Cloud Financials Delivery Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple mid-to-large-scale consulting projects of a complex nature simultaneously.

• Facilitate Oracle SaaS requirement workshops and engage in solution architecture and design discussions throughout the project lifecycle.

• Utilize expertise in Oracle Cloud Applications and industry best practices to offer clients cost-effective solutions.

• Direct implementation teams in developing comprehensive technical and functional Enterprise Cloud solutions.

• Create PaaS extensions, draft specifications for customized applications, and integrate these with Oracle Cloud Applications.

• Evaluate existing systems and data to determine requirements and necessary enhancements or adjustments.

• Lead, mentor, train, and support teams working with Oracle Cloud applications.

• Align enterprise requirements with various Oracle SaaS Applications.

• Tackle product implementation and integration challenges through inventive and resourceful methods.

• Formulate and execute long-term strategies for clients.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating project updates, challenges, and changes to clients, team members, and stakeholders.

• Engage project stakeholders in the estimation processes.

• Assist business partners in articulating the value of solutions to key stakeholders.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers; negotiate contracts and agreements.

• Present business cases and quantify the benefits of proposed solutions.

• Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and recommend necessary updates, upgrades, or modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or similar fields.

• At least 10 years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, with a minimum of 3 years in solution design for ERP cloud implementations.

• Advanced-level experience as an Oracle Cloud Architect involved in implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud implementation projects and upgrades.

• Familiarity with Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS), particularly Integration Cloud Service and Database Cloud Service.

• Knowledge and experience with Web Services and Oracle Cloud SOAP and REST Web Services.

• Exceptional consulting and business analytical skills for gathering requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, designing business processes, facilitating conference room pilots, configuring functions, and testing ERP solutions.

• Experience collaborating with cross-border and diverse teams and projects.

• Understanding of corporate month-end closing, consolidation, planning, forecasting, or management reporting requirements.

• Advanced-level experience with one or more Oracle Cloud Applications: Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle Project Portfolio Management Cloud, Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud, Oracle Manufacturing Cloud, or Oracle EPM Cloud.

• Demonstrated experience guiding clients through enhancements in business processes.

• Background in accounting, including redesigning chart of accounts, financial reporting, MultiOrg, and multicurrency operations.

• Capability to draft functional specifications based on user requirements.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Strong skills in complex project management, business development, mentorship, strategic vision, and maintaining an executive presence.

• Preferred consulting experience in a similar capacity within a professional services firm or strategic industry experience is required.

• Prior experience working in IT companies.
