This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Configure, implement, and provide support for designated Epic applications.
• Offer analytical assistance for perioperative departments utilizing Epic OpTime.
• Work in collaboration with clinical personnel to comprehend their needs and convert them into analytical solutions.
• Engage in upgrades, testing, and deployment processes for Epic OpTime.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in surgical and perioperative areas.
• Take part in special projects and initiatives.
• Plan, design, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic software.
• Analyze and define system requirements and specifications.
• Conduct and document workflow analysis while assessing user experience.
• Maintain application environments and generate documentation and training resources.
• Configure changes in the Epic environment and establish standardized workflows.
• Resolve issues, perform regular maintenance, update systems, and introduce new technologies.
• Assist and guide end-users, addressing system-related concerns.
• Independently contribute to and manage small to medium-sized projects.
• Keep stakeholders informed about assigned tasks, projects, and any issues.
• Execute problem-solving and root cause analysis for routine to moderately complex challenges.
• Identify solutions and ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Minimum of 3 years of systems administration experience with one or more Epic modules.
• Experience as an Epic OpTime Systems Analyst or familiarity with ORIS/PIS management preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
• An Associate's degree is required.
• Alternatively, 2 years of relevant work experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or relevant experience is preferred.
• Epic Application Certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Capability to manage analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks at basic to moderate complexity.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication, along with interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational capabilities.
• Familiarity with project management principles.
• Ability to adhere to HIPAA, data security guidelines, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Travel requirement of 0%–25%.
• Remote-based position.

• Support for Epic Application Certification requirement within 6 months.
