This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Support the onboarding process for transportation partners.

• Oversee daily trips and provide assistance to parents and school districts with their requirements.

• Manage daily customer operations, initiate new client onboarding, and foster client retention and growth.

• Aid in identifying new business opportunities with existing customers and potential clients.

• Collaborate with internal teams on proposals and engage in negotiations with clients.

• Acquire and oversee staff equipment and trip-related materials, including badges and business cards.

• Monitor legislation impacting alternative student transportation and assist with its implementation.

• Identify, onboard, and cultivate relationships with both local and national transportation providers.

• Communicate and negotiate proposed routes with local service providers during the startup phase of the school year.

• Supervise accounts to ensure operational efficiency and customer service levels meet client expectations.

• Manage vehicle maintenance and compliance while overseeing a large pool of drivers and transportation partners.

• Collaborate with internal departments to generate reports and programs aimed at enhancing service quality, reducing costs, and boosting productivity.

• Leverage industry expertise to support and expand daily transportation operations.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Ability to learn and apply technical skills for creating reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and assisting in the development of standard practices within FirstAlt.

• Compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, company policies, and safety protocols is required.

• Adherence to First Student policies and procedures is mandatory.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient environment for passengers, contractors, and the general public.
