This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri, +3 more states.
• Oversee front-end technical sales support, order processing, and project execution for digital initiatives and services throughout the United States.
• Manage digital field substation equipment monitoring projects, which include project tracking, inventory management, lead-time coordination, field service scheduling, budgeting, cost forecasting, and direct supervision of service technicians.
• Process and validate orders using Salesforce and SAP, ensuring data integrity and alignment with customer proposals.
• Administer project timelines, inventory, lead times, and field service operations.
• Directly supervise service technicians and facilitate the development of support personnel.
• Create operational budgets and analyze direct and indirect project costs through reviews and forecasts.
• Coordinate warranty and support functions with the Global Call Center to address customer concerns.
• Act as the subject matter expert for substation equipment monitoring projects and devices.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment within budget and quality standards.
• Draft technical specifications and documentation, investigate technical issues, and provide recommendations for reports and root cause analyses.
• Ensure adherence to applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Candidate must possess valid work authorization that allows them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related discipline.
• 5-10 years of overall professional experience in operations, project management, digital services, field services, or similar technical settings.
• Ability to organize tasks, manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, and exhibit remarkable attention to detail.
• Proficient in effective communication and collaboration across technical, operational, and customer-facing teams.
• Programming experience with IIoT devices; familiarity with SAP is preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 30% as business needs dictate.
