Operational Technology Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Execute project tasks that address specialized information assurance challenges within operational technology systems.

• Merge OT processes and methodologies with information systems to tackle total-system and technology issues related to IA requirements.

• Evaluate information security requirements and utilize analytical, systematic techniques to address workflow, organization, and planning challenges.

• Deliver security engineering support throughout the planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration phases of OT systems.

• Assist the Defense Logistics Agency's Operational Energy Applications program.

• Leverage specialized information assurance knowledge to enhance OT systems that support DoD fuel automation and energy supply chain operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of seven (7) years of pertinent OT experience.

• Must possess an IT-II security clearance or a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at the time of application.

• Relevant certification that complies with DoD 8570.01 IAM Level II, such as CISSP or CISM.

• Practical experience with Modbus/TCP, EtherNet/IP, IEC 61850, ICCP, DNP3, BACnet, and various other OT protocols.
