Online High School Equivalency Instructor – Bilingual Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Facilitate daily lectures and tutoring sessions in subjects such as writing, math, reading, social studies, and science for prospective students.

• Conduct timely assessments and planning reviews for each HSE student.

• Keep detailed records of student progress.

• Oversee and instruct HSE students in group sessions focusing on content-specific examination topics.

• Offer personalized tutoring and remedial instruction.

• Observe and assess student work, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.

• Deliver lectures and lead discussions utilizing visual aids, including graphs, PowerPoint presentations, and classroom response systems.

• Administer standardized oral, written, or performance assessments to gauge progress and evaluate learning effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s degree in a related field is required.

• A minimum of one year of relevant tutoring experience is required.

• Advanced proficiency in bilingual Spanish is required.

• Familiarity with local, state, and federal HSE regulations and testing procedures is expected.

• Understanding of the General Education curriculum at the high school level is necessary.

• Knowledge of basic arithmetic is important.

• Proficient use of English, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.

• Familiarity with data management systems such as Campus Vue, CRM, and McGraw Hill is essential.

• Knowledge of test administration protocols is required.

• Experience with MS Office applications is necessary.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

• Two to three years of experience in teaching (blended learning), training, counseling, or testing environments is preferred.
