Virtual Physician – Bilingual Mandarin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct concise and structured telehealth intake assessments.

• Execute telehealth-based Evaluation and Management (E/M) or Annual Wellness Visits to determine the medical necessity for care navigation services.

• Recognize high-risk conditions and unresolved social needs.

• Record findings in Baba’s platform.

• Ensure precise coding and appropriate use of SDOH Z-codes, diagnoses, and risk factors.

• Create and approve personalized care plans.

• Ensure care plans are consistent with patients’ medical treatment plans and maintain documentation of ongoing medical necessity.

• Collaborate with advocates and the clinical operations team to safely, compliantly, and compassionately enroll patients into suitable care navigation support.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with an active and unrestricted U.S. medical license.

• Extensive multistate licensure is strongly preferred; participation in IMLC or coverage across all 50 states is ideal.

• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in primary care, telehealth, or care management.

• Knowledge of Medicare programs, including care navigation, incident-to requirements, and SDOH documentation.

• Proficient with EMRs, care management platforms, and telehealth processes.

• Bilingual in Mandarin is required.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
