Virtual Physician, Bilingual Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct initial telehealth consultations, including Evaluation and Management (E/M) or Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs), to determine the medical necessity for care navigation services.

• Identify high-risk conditions and address unmet social needs.

• Record findings in Baba’s platform, ensuring accurate coding, SDOH Z-codes, diagnoses, and risk factors are included.

• Create and authorize personalized care plans that align with patients’ medical treatment strategies.

• Ensure that ongoing medical necessity documentation is maintained.

• Work collaboratively with advocates and the clinical operations team to enroll patients safely, in compliance, and with compassion into suitable care navigation support.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with a valid, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.

• Extensive multistate licensure is strongly preferred; participation in IMLC or coverage across all 50 states is ideal.

• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in primary care, telehealth, or care management.

• Knowledge of Medicare programs, including care navigation, incident-to requirements, and SDOH documentation.

• Competence with EMRs, care management platforms, and telehealth processes.

• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
