This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee designated patient reimbursement and coordination cases for the NavieGo branch.
• Manage overall patient cases and act as the primary point of contact for assigned healthcare providers.
• Facilitate the complete patient journey and communication among all parties involved.
• Coordinate and manage requirements for prescription drug coverage.
• Complete documentation, submissions, and paperwork for insurance providers and public funding programs.
• Liaise with insurers, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to coordinate cases.
• Schedule clinic appointments and drug deliveries within specified timelines.
• Assist and guide patients and healthcare providers throughout the reimbursement process.
• Establish trusted relationships with both patients and healthcare providers.
• Implement best practices to enhance patient access to drug coverage.
• Manage pharmacy processes post-funding acquisition.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of public and private funding systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize reimbursement processes and enhance efficiency.
• Improve patient experience and satisfaction with the reimbursement process.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience is required.
• Must be a qualified Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Practical Nurse with a valid provincial license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer/client service and healthcare reimbursement is necessary.
• Previous experience in oncology is preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sector is advantageous.
• Bilingualism in French and English is essential.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when managing sensitive information.
• Strong skills in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google Apps, Word, and Excel.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, covering 8 AM to 8 PM.
• Possess a professional, courteous, and efficient telephone manner.
• Demonstrated capability to organize schedules, prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet competing deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities are required.
