This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide engaging one-on-one English Language Arts lessons to children.

• Assist students in developing confidence in their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

• Utilize pre-prepared materials and comprehensive lesson scripts without the need for original content creation.

• Monitor each child's progress and communicate insights with the academic team.

• Strive to enhance class engagement and improve the overall student experience.

• Complete onboarding training that includes an overview of Brighterly, teaching materials, online teaching tools, the Teacher Room, and communication practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• C1+ English proficiency with a clear and neutral accent.

• A strong passion for teaching young learners and creating engaging lessons.

• Minimum of 6 months teaching experience with children.

• At least a high school diploma with relevant language knowledge.

• Solid understanding of phonics, reading comprehension, and writing techniques.

• Patience, empathy, and outstanding communication skills are essential.

• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week, prioritizing weekdays.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Candidates must not reside in Russia, Crimea, Cuba, Lebanon, Venezuela, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Myanmar, Yemen, or Pakistan, and must provide documentary proof of residency.

• Willingness to work a minimum of 20 hours per week between 4 PM and 8 PM New York timezone.

• A bachelor's degree in education or a related field is preferred as indicated in the application form.
