This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Assist in the introduction of a newly sanctioned targeted treatment for lung cancer.
• Promote a recently approved oncology product to oncology practices within a designated geographic area.
• Interact with oncologists, oncology nurses, office personnel, and pharmacists through face-to-face engagements.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers.
• Inform healthcare providers about the oncology product, its approved indications, and available patient support services.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the product, the disease state, customer base, and territory.
• Forge, develop, and sustain relationships along with regular communication with physicians and key opinion leaders across the U.S.
• Utilize the customer relationship management system to keep track of call records and account plans.
• Provide exceptional expertise and customer service.
• Collaborate effectively and mobilize necessary resources.
• Complete training related to the disease state and product positioning.
• Travel to medical offices and hospitals, with potential overnight travel required.
• A BA/BS degree from an accredited institution is required; a focus in business, life sciences, or a clinical degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or medical sales is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in oncology, with a solid understanding of the integrated oncology network.
• A consistent record of measurable/documented sales achievements is preferred.
• Ability to plan, analyze, and act on sales data within a designated geography.
• Strong and persuasive business communication skills with physicians and providers.
• Capability to work independently and demonstrate sound business judgment and discretion.
• Proficient in analyzing and addressing territory opportunities.
• Familiarity with a Sales Force Automation application is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% as required to cover the territory, within a 2-hour radius from the headquarters city; some overnight travel may be necessary.
• Ability to successfully execute a clinical product sale.
• Proven success in managing a territory.
• Strong knowledge of VEEVA systems.
