On-Site Artwork Project Manager, Packaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of packaging projects for designated clients

• Supervise the comprehensive packaging artwork workflow

• Manage timelines for high-volume projects, including planning, task management, milestones, priorities, and submission deadlines

• Coordinate the production of artwork and prepress activities

• Serve as a liaison among management, internal teams, and clients to resolve issues and offer solutions

• Lead or take part in project meetings and pre-production discussions

• Administer projects and approval routing using workflow tools

• Set up projects and approvers, and onboard new users

• Develop, enhance, and streamline workflow processes

• Prepare estimates and manage purchase orders

• Ensure technical and content accuracy in provided artwork

• Refine and uphold quality-control procedures

• Report production challenges and implement corrective measures

• Anticipate risks and manage obstacles to timelines

• Advise production teams on brand best practices

• Monitor color quality during the initial production phase

• Cultivate client relationships, anticipate their needs, and assess satisfaction levels

• Mentor and guide team members on project management and effective communication practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite; certification in Adobe is an advantage

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational abilities

• Familiarity with artwork management systems

• Capacity to work efficiently towards objectives in a complex and diverse environment with shifting demands

• Comfortable engaging with clients at all levels, as well as printers and suppliers

• Proactive and focused on continuous improvement

• Preferred experience of 2–3 years in a relevant field

• Previous background in customer service and/or project management is desirable

• Project Management Certification is advantageous

• Experience in packaging, artwork management, creative project management, print, production, design, art industry, pre-press, or color management theory is beneficial

• Must reside in an eligible U.S. state; AK, DC, DE, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, UT, VT, WY, and WV are excluded
