On-Call Medical Science Liaison, Psychiatry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address inquiries from physicians, pharmacists, nurses, other healthcare professionals, consumers, and payers.

• Identify, investigate, and critically assess medical literature to formulate responses to medical information requests.

• Manage requests through various channels including phone, email, CRM, and chat.

• Determine the necessary information to gather and the appropriate level of detail required.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation, high-quality standards, and exceptional customer service.

• Assist the field medical team with occasional on-site engagements.

• Provide support for MSL and field medical activities at medical congresses.

• Staff scientific medical affairs booths.

• Conduct research on market and competitive products.

• Contribute to improvements in operations and processes, provide training for the field team, and support field liaisons.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced or terminal healthcare degree (preferably PharmD or PhD).

• Preferred experience as a Medical Science Liaison in psychiatry.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Practical experience in psychiatry.

• Proficient in Medical Information databases, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing platforms.

• Therapeutic expertise in psychiatry, particularly focused on schizophrenia.

• Ability to critically assess medical literature.

• Experience in Drug Information or a specialized area, especially in schizophrenia or other psychiatric conditions.

• Must reside on the West Coast.
