O&M Services Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Provide operations and maintenance services at client locations/properties.

• Generate energy consumption reports, shift schedules, and management information systems (MIS).

• Oversee monthly service level agreement (SLA) performance.

• Repair, maintain, and refurbish both sold and existing products.

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

• Manage maintenance facilities and oversee field service engineering operations.

• Maintain medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) switchgear, transformers, battery banks, VCB/ACB control systems, PCC/MCC panels, relays, APFC/TSC/RTPFC systems, and earthing systems.

• Diagnose electrical systems and maintenance challenges.

• Carry out standard operational and technical tasks in accordance with instructions and established work routines.

• Adjust task sequences as necessary based on evolving work conditions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years of experience in operations and maintenance of switchyards, plants, and machinery.

• Proficient in the maintenance of medium voltage switchgear, including ABB VD4 and HPA24, Siemens 3AH3 series, and Areva.

• Familiarity with low voltage switchgear from Siemens, ABB, and L&T.

• Knowledge of numerical relays, such as ABB REC 610/615, SPAJ 140C, Areva, and Siemens 7SJ relays.

• Experience in maintaining dry and oil type transformers up to 8 MVA.

• Understanding of battery bank capacity testing and maintenance procedures.

• Knowledge of VCB/ACB control systems and their operations.

• Experience in maintaining PCC and MCC panels.

• Familiarity with relay coordination.

• Understanding of APFC/TSC/RTPFC maintenance and troubleshooting methods.

• Knowledge of earthing systems, including maintenance and rectification.

• Strong understanding of digitalization grid and electrical systems.

• Basic knowledge of HVDC and FACTS is preferred, if available.

• Strong management skills to lead the team and interact with clients effectively.

• Proficient in English communication, with strong email communication skills.

• Good command of MS software, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
