O&M Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical performance and availability of photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage system (ESS) assets using remote monitoring platforms and SCADA systems.

• Lead remote troubleshooting efforts, coordinate incident responses, and assist with root cause analysis for recurring technical challenges.

• Prioritize and manage corrective actions in collaboration with field service teams, service partners, engineering, and clients.

• Monitor operations and maintenance (O&M) performance against contractual obligations, including service level agreements (SLAs), availability goals, and response times.

• Examine operational data, equipment logs, alarms, and trends to enhance fleet reliability and service quality.

• Create clear remote O&M procedures, reporting standards, and knowledge-sharing resources for the European service team.

• Direct remote monitoring and operational support for PV and energy storage assets throughout Europe.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Renewable Energy, or a related technical discipline.

• Multiple years of experience in operations and maintenance (O&M), technical services, remote monitoring, asset management, or a similar role.

• Strong understanding of photovoltaic (PV), energy storage systems (ESS), battery energy storage systems (BESS), inverters, communication systems, and technical troubleshooting.

• Experience with SCADA systems, ticketing software, data analysis, and equipment logs.

• Proficient communication skills with customers.

• Composed demeanor during critical incidents.

• Strong sense of ownership.

• Proficient in English (C1 level).

• Romanian (B2 or higher) is a plus.

• Other European languages are advantageous.
