Odoo Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Collect, analyze, and document business requirements from various departments.

• Convert business requirements into standardized workflows within Odoo.

• Identify areas for process improvement while reducing custom development needs.

• Configure and implement essential Odoo modules, including Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Products.

• Tailor system settings and workflows to align with business operations.

• Ensure smooth integration and data consistency across Odoo modules.

• Oversee the preparation, cleansing, validation, and migration of master data.

• Manage data migration for charts of accounts, customers, vendors, products, and opening balances.

• Execute data imports using Excel/CSV files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Identify and rectify data import errors and inconsistencies.

• Carry out end-to-end testing of business processes and ERP workflows.

• Validate accounting entries, inventory transactions, and module integration.

• Detect system issues, troubleshoot functional errors, and ensure successful implementation.

• Facilitate training sessions for end users across relevant departments.

• Create user manuals, process documentation, and training resources.

• Provide functional support during system deployment and go-live phases.

• Address functional issues and ensure smooth adoption of the system.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant, with demonstrated involvement in Odoo ERP implementation projects.

• Strong knowledge of recent Odoo versions, especially Odoo 18 and 19.

• Proven expertise in configuring and implementing Odoo Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Product Management modules.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including charts of accounts, accounting cycles, taxation, inventory valuation, and financial transactions.

• Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end business workflows and integration between accounting, sales, purchasing, and inventory operations.

• Proficient in utilizing Odoo Studio for standard system customization, report configuration, and workflow modifications.

• Hands-on experience in master data preparation, Excel/CSV imports, data validation, and troubleshooting import-related issues.

• Practical experience in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live preparation, and post-implementation support.
