This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Perform developmental evaluations and deliver occupational therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Adhere to each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and collaborate with families to create strategies that support developmental objectives.
• Employ a family-centered parent coaching approach to enhance caregivers' confidence and skills, ensuring that progress is generalized.
• Provide services within children's natural settings, including family homes, daycare facilities, and other community locations; virtual services are also an option.
• Conduct re-assessments and generate progress reports, typically on a bi-annual basis.
• Ensure confidentiality of information relating to children and families in accordance with HIPAA and/or state and federal regulations.
• Valid California Occupational Therapy license.
• Required experience working with pediatric populations.
• Preferred experience in Early Intervention.
• Preferred experience in home-based service delivery.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Capability to provide services in home, daycare, community, and virtual environments.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and/or relevant state and federal confidentiality regulations.
