Occupational Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct remote occupational therapy sessions and evaluations for a varied pediatric clientele.

• Create evidence-based, individualized care plans utilizing Expressable’s clinical tools and platform.

• Provide outcomes-driven care through meaningful collaboration and engagement with caregivers.

• Track client progress and modify care plans to ensure successful clinical outcomes.

• Accurately complete all documentation within the required timeframes.

• Engage in necessary training, clinical learning opportunities, and team communications.

• Offer coverage for PTO and sick leave to maintain continuity of care.

• Plan a schedule that accommodates personal needs and lifestyle, with client demand generally after 3:30 PM on weekdays and early mornings/afternoons on weekends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT, OTD, or equivalent) along with an individual NPI number.

• Licensed in a key state, or willing to obtain licensure before the start date.

• Reliable internet connection and familiarity with teletherapy platforms.

• At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in pediatric settings.

• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems autonomously.

• Knowledge of insurance-based or Medicaid populations.

• Minimum of 7 hours of total availability each week.

• Candidates must possess a Texas state license and preferably reside in Texas.

• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
