Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual assessments of patients, including gathering health histories, reviewing symptoms, and conducting clinical evaluations.

• Diagnose and manage conditions suitable for virtual care within the Nurse Practitioner’s scope of practice.

• Prescribe medications and order or evaluate investigations as clinically necessary.

• Create treatment plans and deliver patient education, follow-up, and preventive care.

• Identify when patients need an in-person assessment, urgent care, or emergency services, and facilitate the necessary escalation.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

• Coordinate referrals and maintain communication with other healthcare professionals.

• Adhere to relevant professional standards, privacy regulations, and organizational policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, relevant to the position and patient demographic.

• Professional liability coverage appropriate for the role.

• Excellent assessment, clinical decision-making, and communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

• Proficiency in using virtual care platforms and electronic medical records.

• Access to a dependable internet connection and a private, confidential workspace.

• Updated résumé detailing pertinent Nurse Practitioner and virtual care experience.

• Evidence of professional liability coverage suitable for the position.

• Copies of relevant educational qualifications and certification credentials.
