Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Engage with Humana members to address open care gaps and facilitate necessary orders, particularly for women who have experienced a fracture in the past six months.

• Create and maintain patient records in the Athena system.

• Confirm benefits for members.

• Collect information regarding medication, medical, and surgical history.

• Coordinate the management of members' social needs, which includes arranging transportation services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing Science.

• Preferred active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner Licensure in Texas.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.

• A minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload is required.

• Suggested connection type includes wireless, wired cable, or DSL.

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions is necessary to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.
