This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Support the Behavioral Health Department by efficiently registering new patients.

• Provide essential business services for both patients and the healthcare system.

• Ensure precise patient registration processes.

• Confirm insurance details and authorizations.

• Collect patient charges and payments accurately.

• Manage a multi-line phone system while adhering to telephone protocols.

• Assist patients as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in the medical field.

• 1-2 years of experience in customer service.

• 1-2 years of experience with insurance processes.

• High School Diploma is required.

• Intermediate knowledge of insurance procedures.

• Familiarity with medical records.

• Experience in operating a multi-line telephone system.

• Outstanding customer service skills.

• Ability to align patient care needs with available services.

• Good judgment in triaging patients with urgent needs over the phone.
