Neuropsychologist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct intake interviews to gather comprehensive patient histories.

• Provide thorough neuropsychological and/or psychological evaluations for clients across all age groups, in collaboration with families and relevant sources.

• Interpret a diverse range of psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, with occasional direct administration of tests.

• Act as a subject matter expert in the application and interpretation of neuropsychological assessments.

• Supervise and manage the work of the assigned psychometrist to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.

• Produce detailed neuropsychological evaluation reports and concise summary documents tailored for clients, families, and referring providers.

• Conduct clear and supportive feedback sessions to explain findings, diagnoses, and personalized recommendations.

• Collaborate with the patient's care team to inform and coordinate treatment planning.

• Conduct virtual and/or in-person sessions with patients and their families.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited program by the American Psychological Association or Canadian Psychological Association.

• One year of predoctoral internship with a focus on neuropsychology is preferred.

• Two years of postdoctoral fellowship with a specialization in neuropsychology is preferred.

• An equivalent combination of experience, supervision, or training will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

• Licensed Clinical Psychologist in at least one state.

• PSYPACT authorized or eligible candidates are preferred.

• Experience in conducting assessments both virtually and in-person.

• Familiarity with online web-based applications.

• Strong therapeutic communication skills.

• Capability to deliver care either virtually or in-person and within your own office space.

• Candidates must successfully pass a background check for this opportunity.
