Neuropsychologist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Conduct intake interviews to gather comprehensive client histories.

• Provide thorough neuropsychological and/or psychological evaluations for clients across all age groups, in collaboration with families and other relevant sources.

• Analyze psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, occasionally administering tests directly.

• Act as a subject matter expert in neuropsychological assessments.

• Supervise and manage the work of assigned psychometrists to ensure the collection of accurate and reliable data.

• Prepare detailed reports for neuropsychological evaluations along with brief summary documents.

• Conduct feedback sessions to explain findings, diagnoses, and tailored recommendations.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, care managers, therapists, and/or mental health wellness coaches in treatment planning.

• Conduct virtual and/or in-person sessions with patients and their families.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate in Psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association or the Canadian Psychological Association.

• One year of predoctoral internship specializing in neuropsychology is preferred.

• Two years of postdoctoral fellowship specializing in neuropsychology is preferred.

• An equivalent combination of experience, supervision, or training may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• Licensed Clinical Psychologist in at least one state.

• PSYPACT authorized or eligible status is preferred.

• Experience in conducting assessments both virtually and in person.

• Familiarity with online web-based applications.

• Strong therapeutic communication skills.

• Ability to provide care both virtually and in-person within your own office environment.

• Candidates must successfully pass a background check.
