Network Supply Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of operational procurement for network connectivity, IP address resources, and data center services throughout the United States.

• Provide support for global network infrastructure and data center initiatives in other regions as necessary.

• Identify, assess, and engage with regional and global telecommunications suppliers.

• Execute RFQs, assess supplier proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and assist in contract execution.

• Manage and monitor purchase requests, purchase orders, invoices, and payments utilizing ERP and procurement systems.

• Collaborate on procurement activities with Engineering, Finance, Legal, Data Center, and other internal stakeholders.

• Assist in supplier onboarding, qualification, due diligence, and contract management processes.

• Acquire IP Transit, Dedicated Internet Access, Data Center Interconnect, Dark Fiber, DWDM, MOFN, colocation, cross-connects, Remote Hands, and Network as a Service.

• Aid in sourcing, purchasing, leasing, transferring, and commercially evaluating IPv4 and IPv6 address resources.

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, competitive sourcing requirements, and internal approval processes.

• Establish and nurture relationships with U.S. regional suppliers and global service providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in IT procurement, telecommunications procurement, strategic sourcing, or procurement operations.

• Proven experience in supplier sourcing, RFQs, proposal evaluation, and commercial negotiations.

• Familiarity with ERP, procure-to-pay, or procurement management systems.

• General knowledge of telecommunications, network connectivity, and data center services.

• Understanding of major global telecommunications carriers, network infrastructure providers, and data center operators.

• Capability to evaluate supplier proposals based on pricing, technical and commercial scope, delivery timelines, service levels, and contractual terms.

• Ability to handle multiple procurement requests and prioritize competing demands simultaneously.

• Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• High attention to detail and the ability to keep precise and complete procurement records.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with technical, financial, legal, and operational stakeholders.

• Willingness and flexibility to support procurement activities and projects outside the United States as needed.

• Professional fluency in English.

• Highly desirable: experience in procurement or supplier management within the U.S. telecommunications or data center market.

• Highly desirable: familiarity with U.S. regional carriers, global telecommunications providers, data center operators, and network infrastructure suppliers.

• Highly desirable: experience supporting data center deployments, network expansions, or Point of Presence projects in the United States.

• Highly desirable: knowledge of the U.S. supplier landscape, commercial practices, delivery challenges, and relevant regulatory considerations.

• Nice to have: experience in procuring telecommunications or network services such as IP Transit, DIA, DCI, Dark Fiber, DWDM, cross-connects, colocation, and Remote Hands.

• Nice to have: experience with MOFN solutions, Network as a Service, IPv4/IPv6 address resources, IP address due diligence, Regional Internet Registries, address transfer processes, and global network infrastructure or data center expansion projects.
