This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead customer presentations and equipment demonstrations, both on-site and virtually.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to cultivate and enhance customer relationships.
• Implement both strategic and tactical objectives effectively.
• Assist in the creation of proposals and customized solution presentations.
• Attend customer meetings on-site as necessary.
• Offer technical expertise and guidance on solutions.
• Align client requirements with proposed architectures.
• Provide architect-level oversight for large and complex projects.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in design, implementation, and integration.
• Maintain technical leadership throughout all stages of project delivery.
• Deliver architect-level technical support during project initiation and, if needed, post-implementation.
• Guarantee seamless transitions and sustained client satisfaction.
• Identify, position, and advocate for opportunities related to MGT’s MSP solutions, including Monitoring, Element Management, SIEM/SOC, and Managed VoIP/Cloud VoIP.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in a relevant technology field.
• At least two (2) years of pre-sales engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching technologies.
• Familiarity with L2 edge switches, L3 routers, VPN technologies, and optical network devices.
• Knowledge of Layer 4-7 application switches, next-generation firewalls (NG Firewalls), load balancers, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPs), and cybersecurity practices.
• Understanding of WLAN technologies, including Controller and Cloud-managed solutions.
• Experience with products from HPE, Juniper/Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Arista, and F5.
• Vendor certifications are preferred.
• Knowledge of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking.
• Proven capability to design and implement large-scale solutions, including budgetary and detailed cost estimations.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in translating customer needs into bill of materials (BOM) and system designs.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and adapt to new technologies.
• Exceptional customer presentation skills.
