Network Developer – Junior/Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain scripts and automation solutions for networks (Python, REST APIs, etc.)

• Assist in the integration of monitoring, ITSM, and security systems

• Engage in the planning and documentation of automated network solutions

• Offer technical assistance to the team and clients regarding DevNet-related inquiries

• Collaborate on proofs of concept (PoCs) and evaluate new technologies

• Utilize Git for code and automation version control, adhering to best practices

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of processes and technical standards

• Work on networking, cloud, and security solutions for medium to large enterprise clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)

• Proficiency in automation using Python or another scripting language

• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and system integration

• Familiarity with Git and version control for code

• Experience working in Linux environments and utilizing the command line

• Availability for full-time work as an independent contractor (PJ)

• Preferred: experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or comparable technologies

• Preferred: knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

• Preferred: networking certifications (CCNA, DevNet Associate, or equivalent)

• Preferred: experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud networking

• Preferred: involvement in network automation projects in production
