Network Automation Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable Go services, comprehensive solutions, and APIs.

• Automate business processes and network operations efficiently.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.

• Address performance and architectural challenges effectively.

• Craft clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.

• Engage in special projects as assigned by the Network Automation Manager.

• Communicate and coordinate with various internal departments.

• Participate in relevant meetings, training sessions, and information exchanges.

• Conduct code reviews.

• Provide solutions for internal tools, applications, and customer-facing websites and apps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience (5 years) in Golang development for building production-grade applications.

• Proficiency with containerized solutions.

• Experience in developing distributed systems and processing frameworks.

• Solid understanding of the Golang Toolchain.

• Experience utilizing external event buses and caching mechanisms.

• Familiarity with implementing workflow tools.

• CI/CD experience required.

• Proficient in Postgres implementation.

• Working knowledge of OpenAPI and OpenTelemetry implementations.

• Experience in visualizing collected metrics, logs, and traces.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm concepts.

• Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, TACACS, and RADIUS.

• Experience in configuring Cisco IOS-XR.

• Knowledge of integrating with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.

• Strong communication abilities.
