Network Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist customers with their network environments as a part of Logicalis’ 24x7x365 operations team.

• Conduct troubleshooting, software updates, and feature enhancements for networking devices.

• Collaborate with external vendors such as Cisco, AT&T, and Verizon to address hardware and circuit issues.

• Develop and maintain technical and process documentation.

• Adhere to established ITIL incident, problem, and change management processes.

• Resolve customer inquiries and outages utilizing technology tools, procedures, training, service offerings, and SLAs.

• Keep up to date with Logicalis service offerings to assist customers and broaden offerings to existing clients.

• Comply with Logicalis values, policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.

• Deliver customer service that aligns with expectations.

• This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).

• 4 years of experience in a network operations center or a similar network support team.

• Proficiency with Cisco and Fortinet firewalls, switches, routers, and access points.

• Knowledge of VPN technologies.

• Experience with data and voice circuits.

• Familiarity with load balancers.

• Proficient in IPT technologies such as CCM, Unity, UCCX, Webex, and MS Teams.

• Experience using an ITIL-based incident tracking system like ServiceNow or CA Service Desk.

• Understanding of network monitoring tools and technologies.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Fortinet NSE4 certification.

• CompTIA Security+ / CompTIA Network+ certification.

• Capable of executing tasks, projects, and troubleshooting with minimal supervision and urgency.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet critical SLA deadlines.

• Capable of addressing requests from multiple customers and account executives in a timely manner.

• Experience with NGFW, Cisco Meraki, Cisco DNA, Cisco SD-WAN, and Citrix NetScaler is an advantage.
