NetSuite Techno-Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee Roadpost’s technical management for the second phase of the NetSuite OneWorld Inventory Management/WMS implementation.

• Evaluate solution designs, configurations, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, integrations, and implementation outputs.

• Offer practical expertise related to serialized inventory, warehouse operations, returns/RMAs, inventory movement, and lifecycle management.

• Review recommendations from implementation partners to identify unnecessary customizations or potential technical risks.

• Ensure that the solutions provided are both scalable and maintainable.

• Conduct audits of existing scripts, workflows, and customizations.

• Analyze legacy SuiteScript 1.0 implementations and resolve performance, configuration, and other technical issues from Phase 1.

• Troubleshoot integrations with Celigo, Zone & Co, ZoneCapture/Beanworks, and NSPB.

• Assist in the migration and validation of inventory, item, order, serial/RMA, and other operational data.

• Document architecture, customizations, integrations, and design decisions.

• Communicate technical risks and suggestions to Finance, Operations, IT, and other stakeholders.

• Collaborate with implementation partners and the team based in Toronto.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical or techno-functional experience with NetSuite.

• Proven experience in multi-subsidiary, multi-currency NetSuite OneWorld environments.

• Strong practical experience in implementing or supporting NetSuite Inventory Management and/or WMS in a high-volume inventory setting.

• Hands-on proficiency with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, saved searches/SuiteQL, custom records, and NetSuite configuration.

• Capability to evaluate and modernize legacy SuiteScript 1.0.

• Ability to assess NetSuite solutions, recognize design and customization risks, and determine when to use native functionality over custom development.

• Experience in diagnosing complex technical issues and resolving problems in existing NetSuite environments.

• Skill in translating technical challenges into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Celigo, Zone & Co, NSPB, ZoneCapture/Beanworks, inventory data migration, or serialized hardware/device environments is a plus.

• NetSuite Administrator, SuiteFoundation, or relevant developer certification is advantageous.

• Practical experience integrating NetSuite with Amazon FBA via Celigo, including knowledge of Celigo’s Amazon connector.

• Experience utilizing AI tools to aid in development, troubleshooting, and daily productivity.

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada on an ongoing basis.
